Perhaps the best aspect of the VW Polo 1.2 Bluemotion is that, for a small car, it doesn't feel like you are sitting in a small car. It actually feels like you are sitting in a much bigger car and this feeling of space and comfort brings with it the added feeling of safety.

My training car is brand new, front wheel drive, five-speed manual VW Polo Bluemotion with a 1.2 12v triple TD engine. This excellent little hatchback is only 1.65m wide and 3.9m in length, making this a comfortable sized car in which to learn to drive. The car also has dual-controls for added safety and is extremely easy (and a lot of fun!) to drive.
